Emma Stone Beats Back Apes And Vampires of the underworld For Box Office Win
FROM MTV MOVIES: Librarians, booksellers and British instructors, rejoice: Moviegoers extremely chose "The Assistance,Inch modified in the best-selling novel, over all the remakes, sequels and reboots in theaters earlier this weekend. "The AssistanceInch dropped just 21 percent in the second weekend of release, consuming $20.5 million (for any 12-day $71.8 million total) being the #1 movie in the usa, based on studio estimations. The heavily marketed "Fright Evening" remake, the "Conan" reboot and also the latest "Spy Kids" all flopped. Last week's #1 movie, "Rise from the Planet from the Apes," is at second place now with $16.3 million. The well-examined sci-fi film's $133.8 million total place it past where Tim Burton's significantly maligned "Planet from the Apes" remake was throughout an identical place in the 2001 theatrical run.
